Robert Gibbs may be the press secretary of the White House, but he is also doing a lot of what I do at work. Hunting down ringing mobile phones. The only difference is that he has to teach adults on how to behave and how to show common sense, while I am teaching teenagers. But after seeing this I can relax a bit knowing that it's not only high-school teachers who have this problem with mobile phones.

Knew you would say that :) But think about it, from a technical and philosophical point of view - who is the villain in The Matrix? If the Agents are the antivirus software...Deep thinking :)

if you think the machines are the hero of the film then she is a henchmen, yes but the story is told from the perspective of the humans. this makes neo the hero instead of a terrorist.

You:

Good point, although, from an ever deeper point of view, the perspective is as you say, the one of the humans. Does that force us to see the humans as heroes, just like that? In all conflicts there are heroes and villains - the terrorist is a hero to some and the other way round, to others. What came first, the chicken or the egg... Did the humans infact deserve their destiny after years of technological exploiting? And after all, the machines tried to make things "good" for the humans, hence the matrix.
